Our History

Dale and Carolyn Shelton established Shelton Body Shop, Inc. in 1976. The business was built upon doing top quality work and treating people fairly. The business continued to grow with a loyal following and many repeat customers.

The early nineties proved that it was time for expansion. The sales demands were more than the current facility could handle. In September of 1993, the addition was completed adding a new paint shop, office and storage space and state-of-the-art equipment. The additional space doubled our square footage and gave us a complete new exterior image. The additional capacity and more professional image led to direct repair relationships with some of the major insurance companies.

The management responsibilities were slowly being delegated to Brad Shelton. He completely took over management in early 1992 and in September of 1999, he and his wife Tracie purchased the business from Dale and Carolyn. The business has continued to grow rapidly and plans are being made for further expansion.

In 2001, the name of the business was changed to Shelton Collision Repair. A progressive business philosophy in keeping with technology and providing exceptional customer service has led Shelton Collision Repair to be the leader in the market. Although the business has changed and has grown over the years, the core business philosophy of top quality repairs and treating people fairly has not changed, nor will it change.
